Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu was born in the United States. Liu is an American singer, actress and voice-over artist. As an intelligent and attractive actor, Lucy Liu acts as a role model for many Asian actors working in Hollywood that want to be successful. Her initial success was enhanced through her participation in several popular television shows. In those shows, she played the villainous Ling Woo. In the wake of a rapid rise in her popularity, she landed roles on big screens including Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. Then, she gave an an excellent role in Quentin Tarantino Kill Bill Volume 1 as Japanese crime-lord O Ren Ishii. Around this same time she was also in box-office flops like Rise: Blood Hunter. In animated movies such as Kung Fu Panda, Tinker Bell and many others, she voiced prominent characters. Mia Mason's tiny screen role as a character in Cashmere Mafia did not produce any results. Southland's critically-acclaimed police drama, Southland and a recurring role helped Liu re-establish the status of an established actress. Liu is extremely careful when choosing her roles to ensure she isn't a victim of stereotypes. Though she has embraced her roots she has not let it hinder her creativity.
