Torrie Wilson

Torrie Anne Wilson (born July 24 1975) is an American former professional wrestler and model. Her most notable achievements are with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and the World Wrestling Federation. In 1999, Wilson won Miss Galaxy. [1][8] Soon after the win, Wilson was hired by World Championship Wrestling. She continued to work for the company from 1999 to 2000. In 2001, she started being in World Wrestling Federation (WWF) television as part of The Invasion (by WCW, of the [then-] WWF) storyline. [5] The most notable storylines occurred in 2002, where she was battling Dawn Marie. [5][9] and 2003 together with Sable. Wilson was also a part of Vince's Devils stable which was exclusively female. In 2002, Wilson faced Dawn Marie. and in 2003 in 2003, she fought Sable. Wilson began her career in wrestling in 1999, when she went to the World Championship Wrestling show. [7][8][9] Wilson was asked to join Scott Steiner in the ring after she had left the stage. [7] Later, Kevin Nash expressed an interest in doing a storyline with her. [5][7][9] The first time she appeared was in the episode Nitro on February 8, 1999 (later changed her name to "Samantha") In the storyline it was discovered that Wilson was brought in by New World Order (nWo) in order to lure David Flair into supporting his father Ric Flair. [5][14] On February 21, Wilson slapped Ric at SuperBrawl IX, David attacked the wrestler with a taser. [15] Ric was awarded the WCW World Heavyweight Championship by Hollywood Hogan. This was in an Uncensored event in which an uncensored Barbed Wire Steel Cage match was played. David and Wilson took an off in April from WCW television, before returning to the arena in May. In 1999, at the Bash at the Beach, Wilson played the role of the valet for Flair as he successfully defended the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Dean Malenko.
